Ah, Linda Blair. Born in St Louis, Missouri, Linda Blair first came to prominence in the classic horror film ‘The Exorcist’, way back in 1973. She returned for the so-so 1977 sequel, then spent much of the next decade or so appearing in low budget exploitation and horror films such as ‘Hell Night’ and ‘Savage Streets’.
One of her more infamous roles came in ‘Chained Heat’, a film responsible for launching the popular ‘Women In Prison’ exploitation sub genre. Come the 1990s, Linda appeared in Exorcist spoof ‘Reposessed’ alongside Leslie Nielsen, sending up her own character and performance from 17 years previously.
Since then, she has made numerous appearances on TV, and has been heavily involved in charity work, especially for PETA.
